The upper elementary school consists of grades four, five, and six. We use a team teaching approach to make the transition into high school easier and to provide a variety of instructors and instructional strategies each school day. The students change classes during the day and our teachers work closely together to provide a consistent, quality education in all subject areas.
Fourth, fifth, and sixth grade students attend a daily physical education class where they are taught the concept of healthy athletic competition as well as skill development in various sports. They also attend weekly computer and music classes.
Students in grades four, five, and six have Bible instruction daily and attend chapel one time each month. Each grade is responsible (under the supervision of a classroom teacher) for leading a chapel service during the year.
Each grade participates in a variety of field trips that are integrated into the curriculum to enrich learning experiences. At Faith Christian School it is our goal to provide an exceptional education using a Biblical perspective that will equip our students to serve God and others in a global society.
If you would like to set up a tour of the school, please call (256-236-4499) or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
"Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts." Colossians 3:16.
